How’d your weekend go? Ours was great because we were at the 2019 Mount Pleasant Towne Centre Fall Boat Show! Blessed with a slight cold front, we saw a glimpse of cooler fall weather that brought out all of the boat lovers. It was our last boat show of the year until January rolls around to mark the start of a new season so we were excited to finish up strong and have a great time!

The actual set up for the show began early Thursday morning, but show prep began weeks before. Boat shows are always a lot of work to put together so we make sure to plan ahead of time to avoid rushing or panicking over last minute things. Prep involves picking out which models will go, laying out where they will be placed at the show, pulling out the boats from their designated spots in the showroom, getting price sheets and pre-owned boat pictures printed, advertising the show on respected news outlets and papers while promoting it on social media, trailering each boat to the show, setting up tents, packing boat show boxes, detailing each boat to ensure it shines for its potential new owner, etc. It’s an exhausting few weeks, but seeing all of the different boat dealers come together and the show completely set up validates all of the hard work our Longshore Team does.

A variety of our Robalo, Chaparral and EdgeWater boats made their appearances. We brought all sizes and models from 170CC EdgeWater’s all the way to Robalo R247’s. We tend to take small to medium sized boats to the Mount Pleasant shows because of spacing and capacity. This show also brought about a lot of great incentives like select 2020 models at 2019 prices to allow our customers to save on their purchases, while Robalo and Chaparral have a Sales Event going on until the end of September.

Smiles were had, questions were asked and demo’s were scheduled. It was a great way to end the boat show season and we’re excited for next year to begin so we can get back to the chaotic fun! Thanks to everyone who joined us and congrats to those who found their dream boats!
